I hope you guys are having fun with the challenge! It's crazy to think there are only 3 more weeks left of the challenge. Stay strong everyone!
Tonight my wife and I just got back in from a trip to Utah, and we weren't able to do as well with the challenge as we would have liked, but it was still do able, even when we were on vacation.
This week for the blog can you please post the following:
1. Points
2. Weight loss
3. How has keeping a food log helped you?
Thanks everyone, keep up the great work!
Total points possible per week are in parentheses
3 points--64 oz. of water (21)
3 points--no eating after 8:30 pm (21)
3 points--2 servings of fruit (21)
5 points--3 servings of vegetables (35)
5 points--No sweets/treats, expect you can have 3 servings
of some kind of treat through the week. (last time we did this we had one cheat
day, and we found that we would usually pig out on that day, so we feel three
"cheat" servings will be help us not get carried away) (35)
5 points--Keeping a food log (35)
5 points--30 minutes of exercise (five days possible--25)
---OR---
7 points--45 minutes of exercise (five days possible--35)
5 points—weighing in every Sunday night and posting how much
you lost on the blog by Monday morning at 10 AM. (5)

3. Keeping track of my food has helped me be much more motivated to eat healthier. Knowing that I'm going to have to later see how many calories are in what I eat helps me stay away from junk food. My fitness Pal is the best!

3. Food logging has been a HUGE help in this challenge. It has made me realize how much senseless eating I do between meals, whether because my I was bored or because I just happened to be walking by the fridge. It has also helped me stop the late night snacking and now I go to bed at a more reasonable hour and sleep much better. I was able to fit into my skinny jeans this week for the first time in two and a half years, so I feel like I'm doing pretty great! :)

3. Keeping a food log has helped me realize that food is an unnecessary luxury. This life is 100% mental. By maintaining a pure desire and intent to survive my body will persevere through the transition from processing the crude foods it has become accustomed to, to more refined sources of energy such as sun or moonlight. Though this new approach to life has made my daily goal of eating 2 fruits and 3 servings of veggies rather difficult, I have found this renewal of my existence entirely worth every point sacrificed. Stay hungry my friends.

Food journaling has been helping me immensely. I find that I am less likely to eat a bad snack to avoid having to log it and see how horrible it was for me.
Oh and no weight loss this week.

It's a pain to log but when it's all done it's nice to see everything organized and to actually see how many calories i consume.

I think the biggest benefit a food log has been for me is how it helps me make each meal count. I can eat a lot of food but since my fitness pal gives me a calorie goal for each day that I need to stay under to make my weight loss goal I eat the foods that are better for me but have less calories and still fill me up. It's been really nice to track exactly what's going in and how good or bad it is for me.

The food log is what keeps me honest about what I'm eating. Yeah, I know how many calories are in 55 goldfish crackers. Why do you ask???
