So….How did it go? Feeling healthier yet?
I hope so! I know it’s helped me feel much better!
First off, there are a few of you who haven’t gotten me the
money yet, so if you can get that to me this week that would be great. That way
I can let everyone know how much the pot is. (As of right now I have a total of
$620! If I get everyone’s money it will be $840!).
Leave a comment on this post that includes the following:
1. Your first name and last initial with your
total points earned from the challenge itself--up to 208 for this week.
(Remember, Monday was free points since it was Labor Day!)
2. How much weight you have lost. If you
stayed the same or put on weight just put 0. (make sure you weigh yourself tonight, to find out how much you lost from last Sunday night)
3. What did you find the hardest part of the challenge
this week? Did it change as the week went on? Easier or harder?
Make sure you post your points by 10 am Monday morning. After week #2, I will tally results and post
standings so you can see where you stand against the other 24 competitors.
Keep strong, and if you have any questions or if you feel
yourself wavering, text or message me!
Good luck!
And here is the point structure again:
Total points possible per week are in parentheses
- 3 points--64 oz. of water (21)
- 3 points--no eating after 8:30 pm (21)
- 3 points--2 servings of fruit (21)
- 5 points--3 servings of vegetables (35)
- 5 points--No sweets/treats, expect you can have 3 servings of some kind of treat through the week. (last time we did this we had one cheat day, and we found that we would usually pig out on that day, so we feel three "cheat" servings will be help us not get carried away) (35)
- 5 points--Keeping a food log (35)
- 5 points--30 minutes of exercise (five days possible--25)
- ---OR---
- 7 points--45 minutes of exercise (five days possible--35)
- 5 points—weighing in every Sunday night and posting how much you lost on the blog by Monday morning at 10 AM. (5)
208 total points possible per week
1. Total points: 205 (I ate after 8 one night)

3. I found the hardest part is not eating after 8:30! I always get hungry around 10pm and thats usually when my sweet tooth kicks in, and eat the most junk food. So this has been able to help me try and curb it. Last night I was at a friends house and they brought out chocolate chip cookies(my weakness) fresh out of the oven at 8:35, and I cave and had some. So that's been hardest thing so far, but it should only get easier from here!

3. I found the hardest part for me was not eating sweets, I lost it today and had a couple even though I had already reached my 3 sweets for the week. It got harder for me towards the end of the week. The other hard part for me was exercise. That is something that I think will just always be hard for me.

3. The hardest thing for me was not eating after 8:30 too especially when I had evening events. I usually come home and eat after that so that will be a hard habit to break.

Whenever I do this challenge, I'm always surprised how waterlogged I feel at the beginning. And how much I HATE drinking that much water. That being said, I feel so much happier overall and happier with myself when I do these small but hard things to stay healthy.

Exersicing has been tough. I feel like my day is already jam packed so workout out has always been on the back burner. But now since we can't eat after 8:30 I choose to go on a walk instead! It's been great.
Good luck on week 2!!

The hardest part is that i want to eat unhealthy food! It fluctuates on whether it's harder or easier. When I see a Pizza commercial or some other kind of delicious food, it becomes harder :P.

I am addicted to sugar so saying no to many many desserts was really tough, but surprisingly it got a little easier, until Sunday. I don't know what it is about Sunday, but my body SCREAMS for sweets. Also, working out on the weekends is not fun in the slightest. I already feel better though so I am loving it!

The hardest part for me was exercise. Not just the time, but the motivation. Missed a couple of days. I found that I was much more motivated at the beginning of the week but as the week went on I slowed down a little bit. But I am noticing that a lot of the inflammation I've been having, the swelling and water retention is going down! So my four pounds might be just water weight, but I do feel much better and less puffy and bloated than I have since before my pregnancy. I'm excited to kick it into gear this week!

4. I was asked to make home made ice cream for Sunday dinner. I resisted while making it on Saturday......but enjoyed it on Sunday. Also, the Gators lost, so I was sad. Instead of 6 quarts of home made ice cream I had to make 12 quarts. It was awesome. If anybody wants any we have heaps left over.

I found the hardest part of this was to not eat after 8:30 pm, specially when I sometimes get out of work so late. What completely stopped me from doing was knowing that I would loose points because of it.

The hardest part was eating after 8:30 and that's here three of my points went but after Tuesday night I was good and found water to be a fine hunger suppressor before bed.
